Quality non-ferrous
castings are the core of our business. We combine age-old sand
casting techniques with modern foundry equipment to produce a
high strength and durable product. Castings can be shipped from
the foundry or machined and finished to your specifications.
Our fully automated foundry coming on line fall of 2002 will
enhance our ability to provide quality castings at a reasonable

Melron's products are
completely finished in house utilizing diverse machining technology
ranging from simple drill presses to CNC machining, This mix
of traditional machines and automated equipment gives Melron
the flexibility to provide job shop services for projects large
and small, simple or complex. Experienced operators give careful
attention to the dimensional requirements of every job. |
Melron has recently installed an E-coat system,
which applies a clear coat of colored organic polyurethane to
electrically conductive surfaces. The coating tests to a pencil
hardness of 4 - 5H and withstands rigorous salt spray, acid resistance,
UV, and weatherability tests with minimal effect. This corrosion
resistant finish heightens the natural beauty of brass and white
bronze. Melron can apply this high performance finish to your
products. |
